Welcome To The PLANET DREAD.

A strange and wonderous land where time has stalled deep, deep, deep in the seventies; everything is overblown beyond all comprehension; Big greasy burgers (or, of course, deep fried peanut butter and 'nana sammiches), and lots of 'em, are the foods of choice; and MUSIC is heard ALL OF THE TIME.

The locals call it zeppelin-inna-reggae-stylee

And why shouldn't they? Robert Plant himself says he LOVES Dread Zeppelin and that their version of "Your Time Is Gonna Come" is better than Led Zep's! Jimmy Page kicked Carl Jah in the shins. Bob Dylan "almost" danced to their music in Oslo, Norway. David Crosby called Dread Zeppelin, "some weird shit" (and he should know!). Dave Stewart of The Eurythmics let them record all of their classic "Un Led ED" in his home studio in Encino, CA whilst Jeff Lynne of ELO & Traveling Wilbury fame played tennis on the grounds. Strange but true.

The late (sob!) Jerry Garcia called "Un Led ED" the best album of 1989! Julian Cope called "Tour-Telvis: A Bad Trip" psychedelic(!!!) but Lionel Richie was apalled that DZ wanted to do his song, "Brick House (of The Holy!)" -hey, he's a serious art-tiste. Bluesy saxophonist, President Bill Clinton, was excited to shake the hands of producer Jah Paul Jo and bassist Butt-Boy. JPJo heard to remark, "It's about time that we had a musician in the White House." Wow, how ironically poignant that remark would later become.

In these pages you will find everything that you need to know about the Dread Zeppelin CD, record and cassette releases and how to get them for your very own; all about their fan club magazine, DREAD TALK, and the several fan club-only CD and cassette releases; and many behind-the-scenes photos from the personal collections of Jah Paul Jo and co-producer, Rasta Li-(Poki)Mon.

So Pull up a comfy chair, put on your favorite sweater, fire up the deep-frier and enjoy a little trip down memory lane. CAUTION: Too much time spent on THE PLANET DREAD can lead to rapid weight gain and may be dangerous for pregnant women. YOU have been warned.

Charlie...! Bring me the envelope marked "Attack #3!"
